PADS Coalition Responds to SEIU Request for Supreme Court Review on Prop 22

Today, in response to SEIU’s request for the California Supreme Court to review a recent appeals court that was a historic victory for California app-based drivers and for voters, Bay Area app-based driver Cora Mandapat issued the following statement:

“It is shameful that special interests continue to undermine the will of the overwhelming majority of California voters who supported  Prop 22 and drivers who want to remain independent contractors. The voters decided and so has the California Court of Appeal. We believe the law is clear and settled and don’t believe the Supreme Court should grant review.”
